yeah, i like it. growing up i sometimes brought a box to school, but i dont anymore since the weaboo density increased going into high school. and hearing them rant about "japanese food" is annoying.
an american (actually anyone from anywhere who isnt asian) whos obsessed with modern japanese culture. they usually get into it through anime/manga/japanese video games.

I'm going to get FFXIII at midnight, and when I do, I'm going to find a 24/7 convenience store on the way there, wait in line with boxes of Pockey, go home, and play FFXIII all night fueled only by Pockey, Coca Cola, and beef jerkey.

Right. I like Pocky because its good. Its meant to be a light snack. Not somthing to completely fill you up. As with most japanese snacks. I like them.

He actually has a point about the second sentence. Some people just talk about it so other's go "What's pocky?" and so they act like they are Japanese and tell them about it...I've actually seen this happen...multiple times... Annoying anime nerds at my school.... >.> I like Anime but some people are a little obsessed...
Anyway, I like pocky, but it's sort of tease. You do have to eat the things by the packs...
Heh, I've come full circle in life... Started out with everyone recommending (feverishly) anything and everything Final Fantasy, got into PC games (like OpenGL Quake, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale, Max Payne, Dungeon Siege, Diablo 2....), started to dislike all that silly Japanese stuff, and now I'm anxiously hunting down issues of Blame! and Hellsing and can't get enough of giant robot shit. Also, Steamboy is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
