Thirty or up? That's it? The average gamer is a 37 (almost 38, now) year old male. Classifying everything above the age of 29 in one group is kind of myopic.
I want to vote for 12 and under, but I don't want to be a jerk just for the hell of it. Really, I can't honestly see anyone under maybe the age of like 16 or so visiting this site. I feel like these guys represent maybe the older segment of gamers rather than the younger ones if I had to make a generalization. I kind of grew up with all these guys over at Gamespot plus Patrick over at 1UP back in its hayday.

Yeah, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the people who have the time to look at the Giant Bomb forums are close to that age.
Well the way i saw it 12 and under people are still developing.
13-17 are still going through puberty and middle / high school bull.
18-22 are either going college or are working after high school.
23-29 people are still young adults finally (hopefully) starting to settle into life.
30 and up people probably (hopefully) have there shit together at this point and will not have any more stages of maturing, you know, besides getting old, gray and forgetful.

Of course we are. Life is meaningless and and death is near. We have nothing but time for escapism to get away from being old and having responsibilities. Not like all these young whipper-snappers who have a future and a social life and and a reason to live! :P

I don't like being put in the category of 18-22 ( I am 22). After attending college, it just hurts to see me put in the same category as seniors in college that still have zero ambition.
Then again, I just woke up without my coffee so I may just be raging for no reason >.<.
