Preferred Hookah Flavors?

I'm popping my hookah cherry tomorrow and was wondering what would be a good flavor/mixture of flavors to try. I've heard really good things about melon, but that sounds like it might be a little boring. Thoughts?

One of my favorites is Honey. OMG it's good.

I've never had hookah before, but I have friends who are big fans. Um...regular flavored should be good, I think. Regular flavored. It tastes like regular.

My personal favourite flavour is healthy lungs.

I'm assuming you mean "preferred shisha flavors"?  Hookahs don't have flavors, as they are the instrument you use to smoke shisha. 
 
Anyways, I prefer more fruit-based flavors rather than floral.  I tend to go with watermelon/lemon, but that has been getting a little less accentuated.  I've been mixing in different things here and there to help enhance it, like using Red Bull in the base or even mixing in berry or cherry with it.  They've all been great experiments, but I gotta be honest - I think I'm just going to have to throw some mint in there.  I hate smoking mint, but it really brings out the flavor well.  
 
Fruit stuff is a good place to start for beginners.  I'm by no means an expert, but I know the hierarchy.  Typically, stuff like rose or grenadine is something that long-time smokers will enjoy, as it has an incredibly strong flavor and aroma that appeals to their matured palate. 
 
I would suggest you try a mixture of cherry/vanilla/grenadine (light grenadine in the mix) with Red Bull in the base.  It's got a great flavor, a good heavy smoke, and it'll be a good introduction to how shisha blends work. 
 
If you are going for a solo flavor, though, then I can't help you, as I don't smoke solos.

apple is my favorite.

Went to a Hookah bar the other day, tried Hookah for the first time. I tasted Mint, strawberry, cherry, and Sex on the Beach, and overall I enjoyed Mint the best.
 
That being said, I don't really see the appeal of it all in the first place, it all just tastes like slightly flavored smoke (with smoke being the most prominent flavor throughout). Of course, I don't smoke in the first place, so that's probably why.

Since when did the "Hookah" become so popular here in the states?
 
Anyway, as a guy that has smoked "hookah" for quite a while, (I'm Arab), the regular flavors are variations of apple. For your first, I would try lemon mint, or a soft flavor like grape with mint. Sex on the beach is a pretty good flavor as well and it isn't that strong. My personal favorite is green apple, and just about anything with mint. Chocolate mint when done right is amazing, it's smooth, strong, and very flavorful.

Sometimes we put some weed in our hookahs. Along with the shisha. So good.

Lol at all the people in here that didn't know what Hookah was.....it doesn't matter to me I usually only smoke it when I'm drunk anyways.
