Wow, I'd completely forgotten about these guys. I liked their first album quite a bit. One problem I had was that immediately after The Strokes become big every other band everywhere began mimicking their sound. Which I guess it's just the way it goes with popular music. I kind of got tired of it, but this sounds pretty good here. I think I'll check it out.
I really like the slurring quality of the vocals sometimes. It's a little sad to see that missing, but then again it's also more strokes that I would not have previously had. So I'm alright with it.
@Bruce: Oh I'm sure it will. This is still a good song, it just doesn't sound like 4 dudes sat around and drank until a song appeared. Also that cover for is this it is totally different from the vinyl of is this it that I have, know why?
Thank's for the news man. I'm a fan of The Strokes but I had lost hope after that third album and their disappearence. This single sounds like they're comming back.
