I can access my Steam account from anywh....
err... Oh.
Cyberpunk.
I like the future. Cyberpunk is the future.
Steam or Cyberpunk.
" I can access my Steam account from anywh....err... Oh.Cyberpunk.I like the future. Cyberpunk is the future. "you read my mind
" I don't know what Cyberpunk is so I voted for Steam. :p "Cyberpunk typically depicts a future where we're heavily reliant on machines and computers. Even though it's futuristic though, everything is broken. The cities are run-down and everything is made with an excess of wires, screens, blinking lights and stuff like that.
Steampunk typically depicts a past where we've made insane advancements in steam-power and mechanical engineering. We have computers and robots powered by overly-ornate systems of gauges, pumps, vacuum tubes and gears. Again though pretty much everything is on the brink of falling apart.
It's digital vs. analog, I guess.
At least, that's how I understand them.
You screwed up the poll. You need to Steampunk not Steam.
You also forgot Cthulhupunk.
All of the "punks" derived from Cyberpunk from Gibson. So I'd stick to the source material: Cyberpunk.
Steampunk is a genre that can't even exist in the future because Charles Babbage never got his computer to work. If it did, then you have the Steampunk world.

Cyberpunk! Really, what's better? Bladerunner or Wild Wild West? Besides, "Cyberpunk" was a kick-ass table top RPG back in the day; another "Shadowrun" had strong cyberpunk elements, too. The Matrix, Ghost in the Shell, Strange Days, and Max Headroom were all cyberpunk themed.
Steampunk is okay. A lot of Miyazaki's films have steampunk technology, but jacking into the net, getting synthetic impants in your brain that enables you to learn stuff in a second, and just the whole techno-urban, Asian influenced culture of cyberpunk is more interesting to me than the Jules Verne inspired worlds that comprise steampunk.

"Exactly.
Although as far as Steampunk is concerned, I really liked Scarlet Traces from Ian Edginton & D'Israeli. It was a take on what Great Britain did after conquering the Martians in HG Well's War of the Worlds. It was good shit. In fact Ian & D'Israeli have done a lot of Steampunk that I've been fond of. They're cornerstone members in the comic's world I believe.
" I kinda like Steam better. They have a bigger game library. "plus weekend deals are a nice bonus.
Snow Crash vs. Wild Wild West. Now what. NOW WHAT.
