I didn't know police departments had websites. Aren't you suppose to call those people? I doubt a 911 email would be very effective.
You gotta use AIM in an emergency.

It must be the late 90's in Cookeville
Cookeville Tennessee, a place where a lost decade finds new life. Even Neve Campbell can find continued relevance, in the Twilight Zone.

Uh oh. I think they're on to Alexis.
I am a police officer and this makes me laugh. They were trying to be cool but somehow missed the boat by a lot. PS the population is not that high for the amount of divisions and officers they have. Your town must have a lot of trouble with crime. Six k-9's for a town that size is crazy! I am sure you have a ton of great folks that work for your local PD but whoever set up that website needs to pump the brakes on the hip to be cool train.
HEY @jeff IT'S YOUR COUSIN MARVIN. MARVIN GERSTMANN. YOU KNOW THAT NEW SOUND YOU BEEN LOOK'EN FOR?
WELL LISTEN TO THIS!

This seems to be the man responsible:
You should email him and let him know what you think of the site. In fact, we probably all should.
Is this viral marketing for a 90's cop show, like The Office but for cops? Because this surely can't be real...can it?
If you look at the names of the cops under 'Command Staff'....it might be.
Really this is awesome in the way that a police website kind of shouldn't be, awesome yeah, but probably not the most informative. Also, yeah this looks awesome, but when we hear that a bunch of Cookeville cops have been done for using excessive force...this site is gonna look less cool.

"Cookville police were found guilty of doing a sick jump with their police car into a meth lab, blowing it up and everyone inside. The judge agreed it was totally rad."

"I find the defendant, to be a total lamer."
