Let me preface this with a clarification or two. Rock. Rock. In other words, Rock. Not rap, not pop, not death metal (sorry, it isn't actually Rock,) and most definitely not emo. Rock = Classic Rock, 80's Rock, and 90's rock. Country is also fair-game, even though it isn't my cup of tea.

You can format your list in anyway you want, mine will be a countdown. Preferably, the list will be of who you think are best Rock vocalists and not of your personal favorite band's lead singer (unless you do believe that said singer is up there). I.e., I like the Allman Brothers more than the Beatles but Paul McCartney does have a better voice than Greg/Duane Allman.

With that out of the way, bombs away!

10. Ronnie Van Zant, Lynyrd Skynyrd

9.  Eric Clapton

8. Axl Rose, Guns N' Roses

7. Billy Joel

6. Jim Morrison, The Doors

5. Chris Cornell, Soundgarden

4. Paul McCartney, The Beatles

3. Elton John

2. Sebastian Bach, Skid Row

1. Freddy Mercury, Queen

ur tern!
