There is a new album from The Tragically Hip coming out in October. The two tracks they got on soundcloud are pretty good. They seem to be a return to their mid 2000s form after those two middling albums that were produced by Bob Rock.

Edit: Anyone know when there will be anything new from Midnight Brown?

I'm really looking forward to new albums from a few bands I love, like Two Door Cinema Club, Faded Paper Figures, and The Oh Hello's.

I'm pretty excited for the new Touche Amore/The Casket Lottery split.

Im gonna die when Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City by Kendrick Lamar comes out.  Im really stoked for that album now.  If its anything less than Section.80 Ill be really disappointed.  However, I cant stop listening to the 2 leaked songs from the album so Im pretty optimistic that itll turn out amazing.  

The new Kamelot CD is supposed to come out like late October or early November if I remember correctly. It should be pretty awesome but then again I read there is going to be a new singer so that has me a little worried.

The only album I was looking forwards to this year was Carolus Rex, which by the looks of it, is a decent enough album. It doesn't compare very well to Coat of Arms, though.

I guess Epicloud by Devin Townsend and Disclosure by The Gathering. Minus the Bear's new one should be here any day now. Been a good thrash year lately but these will be a nice change of pace.

Already listened to a leak of the new Mountain Goats album. Really digging it. And I am waiting on the new albums for these other bands:

Waiting for Trent Reznor to let us have the new How to Destroy Angels album, then maybe some new NIN stuff? Hell, I'd kill for another film soundtrack at this point!

I'm extremely excited for the new Pig Destroyer album. It's been five years since their last album, which is far too long.

Don't really "look forward" to music anymore. I check out stuff when it comes out, but I'm super curious what the new Against Me! album will sound like since Tom's sex-change.

I'm pretty excited for the new Billy Talent album Dead Silence coming out on September 11th.

Scars on Broadway are releasing an album soon and I'm pretty psyched for that.

Also, Tool is working on something, right?

That's about it at the moment. I don't really look forward to many albums anymore, just for a select few bands. This is WRC's debut album though so I'm pretty excited to hear it.

This is the only one for me though, I don't really follow music super closely. Though I didn't realize Calexico had a new album coming until this thread, so I guess that too.

Can't wait for PBX which comes out in a few weeks.

Pretty psyched for the new Animal Collective album, which comes out next week, I think. Other than that there's that new Death Grips album that should be dropping in a month or so.

So happy to see some Tragically Hip love, being Canadian they are one of my favs and I can't wait for Now For Plan A. Also looking forward to Soundgarden's first new album in 16 years. Really excited for Time 1 from Wintersun, luckily I only got into them a year ago so didn't have to wait as long as others for the album.

The new album by The Darkness just released and it's pretty damned good. It's streaming on Rolling Stone's website if you want to give it a listen. Not quite "Permission to Land" greatness but a very solid album nonetheless.
