I'm sorry, because I love Chris Cornell's voice, but he's definitely far over the hump now. It saddens me, but I think he should retire. At least from live performances, although his Leno stuff sounded like he's recovered a lot from Audioslave's vocal toll. You know what? I'll just wait and see.

What's with the hip hop hate coming from gamers? Every gamer community seems to hate them, yet on MySpace hip hop is the #1 genre, well ahead of rock (they have rankings on the music page...)...

Well you can't just say hip hop in general isn't quality art. That's just stupid. Obviously a TON of people understand the quality in it, and enjoy it. Those who claim the entire genre is worthless seem pretty weird, like they're little Columbine kids hating on society because it leaves them out or something.

Well obviously the good stuff would be the 2% we mentioned.

Although, technically this thread is about musicians & singing, not poets.
