My first job was as a tutor one summer in college for around three weeks. I don't really count it because of that. Also, I was hired for that job sight unseen, no interview. I only worked about four hours a week too, which makes about 12 total.

My current job is the only other one I've held, and I've only been at it for 5 months. It's also the only job interview I've ever been through. I'm now a software developer for a fairly large software development company (5000+ employees).

I got a job at the local furniture store working the receiving area at nights when I was 16. I would put out furniture on the floor and assemble said furniture. Also, if a customer needed something put in their car I would help them with that. It was a pretty easy job with lots of variety of work to do.

I shared a paper round with my brother, but I don't really count that. My first proper job was in a stadium, serving hotdogs when I was 16, and was asked if I wanted to become a Team Leader after my 2nd or 3rd shift, it was strange being 16 and telling people in their 40s what to do.

Apprenticing as an electrician.

It was incredibly good money but it was also damn hard. 10 hour days, five or six days a week and it was entirely physical labor. I had to quit because I couldn't take the heights...I'm petrified of heights.

It's just a fake title they gave the employees that worked there making sandwiches. Sorta like people who work at the Genius bar. I was about as much an artist as they're geniuses. . . . Actually. Prolly more so, cuz I can kinda draw a bit.

Technically I was a paperboy at around 12, but my first real job was working maintenance at a motel.

Did you really refer to your PC as a 'she', or did I misunderstand?

I spent a lot of time on boats as a youngster. Traveling the rivers of Ireland for a year on a boat does things to you, man.

Ah, when i read it the first time i thought the 'she' was your Mum.

Back on topic, just a Waitrose when i was 17, boring!

Didn't have a job in my teens or anything. Got wrapped up in a photo lab at 21, where I'm still working.

I was a bus boy at a restaurant for ~9 months and then it closed back when I was 15/16. Have not had a job since, but I am looking now (I'm 18 now). I've been mowing yards since I was 11, but I wouldn't really call that a job.
