hmmmmmmmmm?
What's Your Favorite Board Game?
I LOVE board games. I have 4 or 5 Scrabble-type crossword building games, and my favorite one is Upwords, so if I feel like a word game that one wins out. Chess is my favorite if I want a pure strategy game, but it's such an obvious choice that I feel almost like I'm cheating by selecting it. Blokus is also a favorite if I feel like something a bit different. I'd love to get into some deeper and more complicated European board games, but I don't know anyone else who would have the interest or patence to get into them with me.
"ZombieHunter said:That game was downright fascinating to me the first time I played it (I was a youngin'), but after that I wasn't really into it. Like most people, I too just resigned to making the trap and setting it off...."i dont care what anyones say the MOUSE TRAP is Numbero Uno "I never liked the game, I just liked making the trap... much more fun"
"ZombieHunter said:lol you never played mouse trap with me i make that game look Good"i dont care what anyones say the MOUSE TRAP is Numbero Uno "I never liked the game, I just liked making the trap... much more fun"
Scrabble, hands down.
I'm also partial to a bit of Cluedo.

"(BTW Chess is a board game right?)"It's played on a board, therefore I'd say it is.
I own mainstream board games like Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble some European board games like Settlers of Catan with the City and Knights expansion and an indie game called Last Night on Earth, the Zombie Game. Oh yeah and a big big game called Twilight Imperium which has been collecting dust cos I can't get enough people to play with me lol.
"My favourite is this German board game called The Settlers of Catan. You build settlements with resources you collect after dice rolls etc... It looks complicated but once you get the hang of it, it's awesome!!!"Ever tried the expansions? You should really try em out, though your tactics will become more ruthless then when you played the original.
