Man, have you guys seen the recent Facebook changes? My god, that are fucking horrendous. They are so bad I'm thinking of dropping my account. Even though I've already contemplated that a few times already. Facebook is slowly pushing itself into obscurity, with constant changes that everybody hates and new additions nobody gives a shit about.
I don't hate Facebook, I just don't use it. I'm from the old school where you just don't put personal information on the internet. If you Google my real name (first, middle and last...my first and last names are common) all you'll find is a little newspaper article on an auto accident I was involved in years ago.
For me it just ended up being a place where lots of people I knew at some point talk about their kids and post pictures of their family on vacation. I just couldn't give a fuck in the end. "Been at the gym, shower then [insert elaborate meal crafting]." People just braging and pretending they're doing awesome stuff. I like twitter a lot. I can follow people who are worth following, like Stephen Fry, and not the fat dude from 1st grade who I sort of remember, and who is now just a flaming racist.
Anyways, never been a big fan of anonymity, I'm the same IRL as I am online. Never felt the need to wear a disguise to say what I really want. I actually feel bad for people who feel that they have to, cause that has to be limiting them in a major way.
