I've been using Windows XP SP2 for a long time and it's worked fine but now I'm noticing SP3 when I go to Windows Update. Should I download it or is it not worth it? I've read about some people who have had problems with it.
I haven't heard much about it, either, but what I have heard is bad. I would say wait until more people around the net put opinions about it before upgrading for yourself.
its always good to get the most updated version of Windows and seeing as ive had it for a couple of days now, i havent noticed anything different with the OS or how it operates

based upon what proof? oh infact there is none, Windows 7 is in its earliest stages and wont be ready any time soon believing it will come in in 2010? dont be silly.
As for XP sp3 why would you not update to it? could you not do any research on it? as for that SP3 has been out since april 21st if you've yet to update then its obvious most every thing on your system is woefully out of date.
P.S: sp3 is an amazing update it increases stability very well on xp and i noticed the OS runs faster.

Why people automatically think new things are bad I don't know. I got SP3 when it first came out and never had any problems at all. If you've been getting the other updates then you probably won't notice anything different.
