Rise confirmed as playable character

We didn't know until just now, but apparently it will be an extra story scenario which takes place at the end of P4AU's story, kinda like Persona 4 Golden's epilogue.

Someone speculated it's a way to circumvent reverse importing, thus removing some of the need to region lock the game just like they did with P4A since the Japanese and NA releases are so close again. Sounds reasonable, though maybe that's not the reason. Either way, I'm sure it won't be an essential part of P4U2's core story.

@fluxwavez: I remember reading somewhere that there will be a connection to Dancing all Night. Maybe the DLC is that.

Yeah, that was from the Famitsu issue. The extra scenario certainly would be a good place for some of that to happen.

Stoked for Rise because you know her story is going to be awesome. Also one of my favorite characters. Don't care about Persona 3 characters and don't see why anyone would. You got the only two good ones of the bunch already.

Actually really liking the look and feel of Rise! I can't help but be reminded of I-No because of Rise's use of the mic stand and floating notes. If there is no playable Adachi, I think I would be okay with Naoto and Rise.

Mitsuru and Aigis are both boring. Junpei and Yukari may not be the most pleasant people, but at least they're interesting. Akihiko's cool though. Also, as much as people hate Yukari, she's a god damn Gatchaman character now, how can anyone not be down with that?
