For me it has to be Cody and to a lesser extent rose.

I miss Sakura (though for some reason I'm sure she'll be added eventually). Ex hurricane kicking into stuff was fun.

E. Honda and Sagat

I like Rose and Cody as well. But all things considered I can take them or leave them. Sagat though, it's a crime that he isn't in. T.T

I used Honda and Juri but had to revert to Ken. So cant wait till August to get Juri.

I miss the remaining guys from the original, including the bosses. I would also be happy to see Dudley, Hakan, Hugo and Makoto.

Would love to see Makoto and Sagat brought into this game.

Necro and Remy are my "gets" for this game. They've given Necro a cameo but no sign of Remy, and quite frankly I doubt we'll be seeing the latter in a Street Fighter game ever again.

@sku: Joe would be interesting just because of how uninteresting he is. He's White Guy Karate personified (Kickboxing at that, the whitest of white guy martial arts!), but Guile is just US Army Man, and he's so well-designed and beloved that people are still begging for him in a game with Charlie in it! You can do a lot with a blank slate. But I'm the guy that thinks people should remake shitty movies, rather than movies that were already good, so that they have nothing to live up to, so what do I know?

I've always been a fan of Dudley, but there's so many cool characters right now (and the possibility of Balrog later) that I can certainly live with it.

I miss Sakura--she was my main in SFIV and not having her around is a stone cold bummer. I really liked C. Viper too.

I think not having at least every character from SSF2 is a mistake.

I think Hakkan could be cool his V skills could be fun, also Abel is one of my faviorite new characters from SF4.

I don't really miss a character that much, since SF4 had so many. I feel anyone that was in that, and isn't in this isn't really a big deal. I would rather love some characters that haven't been in for a while.

For example Urien, I cannot wait for. I loved him in 3S and will be interested to see how he plays in V.

Blanka, maybe? Q? Really, I was hoping Guile was gonna make the roster. Super surprised to see Alex made it; really like playing both of those characters. So, I'm pretty happy with the current and near-future roster and excited to see what they do with those two characters.

Sagat should probably be in the game, though, but it's okay if he's not. Akuma will probably be in it, too, right?

At the very least, I think the original 12 Street Fighter 2 cast and Akuma should show up, but I also wouldn't mind for Guy and Cody to appear at some point.

I love the cast of SFV and don't feel it's lacking but hopefully they'll add Sakura, since she was my main in IV. Not sure how though because apparently she's dead now or something??

Ibuki and Juri, but since it's already confirmed we're getting both somewhat soon I don't feel too bad about it.

Street Fighter isn't Street Fighter to me anymore without Q or Makoto.

@el_tajij: Sakura's not dead, dude. Not sure where you picked that idea up, but she's alive and well in Karin's story mode in V.

Adon for sure. I actually haven't played SFV yet but that would be who. I was all about his moveset and style but Rashid seems similar to him, at least.

Q, Makoto, Cody, and Abel. I would say Guile but I know he's coming. Throw in Sakura too I guess. I never play as her but I feel better knowing she's in the lineup.

Sodom. I dunno why, but I really miss that bugger.

I think it'd be really interesting to see what they did with E. Honda, considering some of the stuff they've done to other characters.

@ford_dent: I think there was a comic or something released with the special edition of the ps4 game that said she was killed in there? Haven't touched most of the story stuff yet so that's great if she isn't!

I would love to see Necro and Q. And Sean. Sean deserves a second chance. Oh, and I barely started looking at Cody towards the end of 4, and wouldn't mind seeing him. Not sure how that'd fit with the timeline though.

Elena would be a big win. Making it more like Street Fighter III is always nice.

Oh dear god do I HATE Cody! I want Balrog so badly! I hear he may be the first released if they do it char per char anyway. And honestly they need to get on that badly! I heard Balrog has been playable for press, but also heard to "expect" new chars by the end of the year which seems really extreme to me.

I really mained Balrog hard in SF4, which was a change from Ryu/Ken for me. I really enjoy the SF3 feel of Ryu so far. He has feels alot better in not needing a set up for his super/ultra. Other then that actually kinda want Sagat, and Akuma, but guessing wont see them for a long time.

ARGH! I hope not! Dig up any time release on that? Just heard Balrog was playable for some press, which implied he MAY be the first released. Would really love to know a time frame, the articles Ive read are vague or say by end of 2016 for any new chars.

@john1912: Alex is coming in March, and then it's one character a month except for June when the story mode is released. We don't know the order of release for the other 5 characters. Hakan, Sagat, Dudley, Abel, Honda, C. Viper, Makoto, and Juri are characters I think should be in. Not necessarily due to my playing them (although I do enjoy all these characters) but because of the diversity of play styles it'd bring to the cast.

For the record, the current DLC wave is Alex, Balrog, Guile, Urien, Juri, and Ibuki. They'll all be out before September, and then 6 more unannounced characters for 2017.

Miss SF2 Guile (everyone's fav)... not SF4 Guile who was a weak design with a hunchy back and short legs, so not the Guile I remember. Nash is pretty well done so fingers crossed.

I can't believe that not only did Sagat not come in the launch game, he's not even in the first round of DLC characters which means he's at least 7 months away from being in the game.
