...and it's not bad. Has anybody else given this a shot yet?

I've been pleasantly surprised by the bit that I've played so far. I loved Horizon, but skipped Horizon 2 because I don't have an Xbox One and I heard the 360 version was inferior. I figured I'd give this a shot, expecting not much more than a demo. It seems quite a bit more fleshed out than that, with all the stuff that I would normally expect in Forza Horizon - an open world, speed cameras, photo mode, etc. Traffic is perhaps a bit sparse, but otherwise, it plays great.

Oh, and it seems to have a full 1000 achievement points? I certainly didn't expect that.

It took me a couple of hours to get through all the races and its a great little vertical slice of what the full game has to offer. Definitely worth it for zero money!

I didn't know this existed, I'll have to check it out...but yeah, definitely get Horizon 2 when you can!

Downloading now; seems big. TY for the reminder tc. I'd read it was free for a while but lost track of that fact. Been playing FH2 in my rotation recently and being a Forza series veteran, have been liking it more than the first game by quite a bit. You can really see the influence of the Playground devs that came from the PGR games. Good stuff. Just enough arcade mixed w/some sim if you wanna mess w/the building and tuning.

This game just reminded me of how much I loved Forza Horizon 2

It's simple and easy and stripped back, but still super fun.

It also has one of the easiest 1000 acheivement points I've ever gotten. I did everything in about an hour forty.

It was neat.

It's essentially just a sizable Forza Horizon 2 demo with Ludacris instead of that annoying English guy, but it's a pretty good reason to play some more of a great game.

Anyone know if these cars transfer back to FH2?

This is a completely separate thing from proper Forza Horizon 2 - nothing transfers between them.

As a dude who planned to get Forza Horizon 2 for ages but has yet to actually get around to it, this was an easy decision to make. I can say with some authority that this game's pretty great!

The full version of Horizon 2 is also on sale on the Xbox One right now. I'm glad to see the F&F demo is generating some more interest in the game. Horizon 2 is a straight-up great game; one of the best racing games of all-time if you ask me. If you have an Xbox One, at least give the demo a shot. Free is a pretty good deal.

Don't even own an Xbox One (will at some point though) but I totally got this as a future purchase.

I was kinda curious about this. Was considering Horizons 2 but I hadn't played a Forza game before so I'll def check this out.

Horizon 2 is probably the most "approachable" of the Forza games, as opposed to, say, Forza Motorsport 2, which was brutally realistic/difficult/frustrating. Horizon 2 would be a great introduction to the series.

I played through this and really enjoyed it, although I thought we were going to be able to transfer our cars over to FH2.

Good thing this was free, because its just a gloried demo.

There have been approximately a thousand things worse than this that have charged real dollars. There is zero to complain about here.
