If Futurama could take human form, I think I might marry it; I like the show that much. I'm even a big fan of the comic books. But their video game outing? It's like one giant "meh". A bland, empty-feeling game with so little going for it that it falls into the rental-only category.

The character quips are funny, of course. That's a given, thanks to the cast & writers of the show climbing on board. But I think they just made a bunch of lousy choices. Leela's kung-fu was fun. Bender's platforming was bland and uninteresting. And Fry's shooting went on for way too long, with some enemies taking like 30 hits before they fell. The cel-shading looks nice at first, but from some angles it can be downright hideous. And the Zoidberg level is so quick and pointless that it might as well not even exist.

Futurama deserves a better game than this. Considering the very FIRST SHOT of the series is an arcade game, I think we need to give this puppy a bit more virtual love.
