I personally payed homage to giantbomb by calling mine Carbon Neutral.
Game Dev Story
Game » consists of 4 releases. Released Oct 09, 1997
A game company simulation game for iPhone OS, Android, and PC by Japanese studio Kairosoft.
What did you name your company?
Game-O-Vision to honor Code Monkeys :)
Then I just put in whatever popped into my head so my next two were Darkside and then Playsoft.
I called my original company Carbon Neutral as well, but I deleted that save early on because I thought I made too many bad decisions and went bankrupt (turns out? contracts are important!) So my current mutli-award winning one is Nambu Studios, named after a crazy Indian Science teacher in my school that my friends and I make fun of a lot. NAMBUDRIPAD!!!!!!
Gnawsome Games. Without the space in between.
I named it on a whim because I did not think I'd spend upward of 6 hours with the game.
I named mine "Bitches?" because I thought it would be funny. It made everyone's letters, reading "I love Bitches?", a lot more satisfying.
Also, the companies would constantly say, "Just what I would expect from Bitches?" which may even be better.
My first company was 14 Characters.
my second was 'Fullbrog!'
Just put out a state-of-the-art console at year 12 with Fullbrog. The "best game ever" award continues to elude me. I imagine I need solid 10s across the board?
Lyinhead Studios.
(Technically "LyinhedStudios" due to the arbitrary 14-letter limit.) Sadly, our Robot Adventure game "TransFable" was not well-received. I blame our frontman for claiming that it would be "The greatest Robot Adventure game of all time."
I hate the character limit. It ruined all of my good ideas. Ended up going with Weather Inc. I believe. I want to change it.
