    The third and final installment in the Marcus Fenix trilogy. Taking place on the apocalyptic planet Sera, 18 months after the ending of Gears of War 2, players will once again take control of C.O.G. soldier Marcus Fenix as he takes on the Locust threat and their Lambent rivals.

    While Epic Games' own Cliff Bleszinski's appearance was rescheduled for April 12th at the 11th hour,  It appears the banner guy at Xbox Live did not get the message, clicking the banner does nothing but we now know one of his previously unannounced projects is Gears 3 coming in April 2011.   Pic taken on my moto droid at 650 est this morning.  Image and link to Gamespot article that discusses the schedule change for jimmy fallon below.

    Wow, somebody screwed up big time. 

    Can't say I'm super excited though, I enjoyed playing through the last two games, but didn't find them as amazing as most people.  I only ended up getting the second because I was able to get the CE at a discounted price.  I'll probably wait for this one to drop in price a bit too.

    yeah its a definite that Gears of War 3 is coming out, but apparently 2 other exclusives will be announced sometime, According to OXM UK anyway.

    @WinterSnowblind:  same here was really optimistic for the 2nd because of  "promise" of a better mutliplayer but it's as frustrating as ever.  i'm lukewarm on this one but still found it as newsworthy.
