A 360 blockbuster that everyone should give a go!

The Good:
Best graphics you can find on the 360; Level designs are very beautiful and unique; You've got a big arsenal of different weapons at your disposal; Co-op works very well; This game is amazingly fun and challenging online
The Bad:
There is almost no story what so ever; a few glitches that can really disturb you when playing online; gameplay gets repetetive as you move along
Now that Gears of War has finaly been released, a lot of people has probably bought this game and asked themself "Does this game really live up to it's incredible hype?"
Though I can't answer for everyone in here, i can assure you that this game is very, very good. Worth a 5-star rating? -Totally!
You play as Marcus Fenix, a COG soldier, who later teams up with a lost delta squad, which was sent on a mission to go look for Alpha squad. Not much happens to the story afterwards, but there will be some minor twists and turns here and there.
Gameplay is the same thing through the whole game. The developers call it 'Stop N' Pop' wich means that you stop behind cover, and pop out from it to get a hit at your enemy. It may sound quiet simple, and actually it is, but there is a huge diffrence gameplay-wise between a person who has played the game for an hour, and a pro who has been playing for weeks on end.
Something they have included, is a reloading "mini-game" to all the weapons to keep the pace going and making it somewhat less repetitive. When you reload, a small bar will appear in the upper right corner, and then you have the chance to push the reload button again at the right spot to reload faster and get a nice little damage bonus.
The graphics in this game are nothing short but amazing! From the beautiful environments, to the detailed and smoothly animated characters. Unreal Engine 3 really shows its power in this game.
The sound is what you'd come to expect. Very nice sound effects that fits the game very well. Music is also pretty tense at times, and the voice-acting is preformed well in a 'bad ass' manner.
Because of all the achievements, this game has great replay value. You want to defeat the game on all three difficulties so that you can pick up all those massive piles of points. Also, the online play is a good reason to let the disc sit in your 360 for a long time to come.
Overall, this game realy did live up to it's hype in my opinion. Everything is just so perfect about it. The graphics are awesome, the online is superb, and the gameplay is so simple, yet you want to keep going.
Give it a go!
