General Ben Carville was a veteran of the earlier war with the Soviets. He briefs the commander in CNC: Red Alert: Retaliation. He also trains and commands new commanders in the military.

In Red Alert 2,he continues to brief the commander. He is killed in the tenth mission briefing by a Crazy Ivan, just before leaving for Germany to help in the final push against Romanov.
However, he was revived in Yuri's Revenge when the player goes back in time before Carville death. General Ben Carville is played by Barry Corbin.
