    Gran Turismo 5 is the fifth edition in the long running racing game series by Polyphony Digital. The game sports over 1000 vehicles, damage modeling on race cars, a dedicated television channel, lots of races, 16 player online multiplayer, and active weather.

    Im sure there are people who have no interest on anything on the PS3 currently who want to play Gran Turismo. But I have to imagine a lot of them went ahead and got a PS3 to play Prologue.

    Apparently it's the playstation's best selling franchise. The delays will probably make even more people want to play it.

    If this were a few years ago, I would say yes, but the PS3 has been out for 4 years now, and I can't see this causing an interest in the PS3 that wasn't already there. It's not as though there aren't plenty of other reasons that people would have already purchased a PS3 for or at least created the desire too

    Probally, it's considered a killer app exclusive. Well if they can get over 90% on gamerankings anyways. It will move consoles, there are alot of casual gamers who are interested in similation racing games. This game will sell like 6 million copies as I estimate.

    I think most people who want to play GT5, already have a PS3 but GT5 is a system seller nonetheless .
