Because Arenanet will be wiping guilds for this beta weekend, we'll be employing a new beta roster in order to get everyone into the new guild as quickly and efficiently as possible.

It's easy this time around, as we have enough people in the guild during these betas to not worry about times etc, just enter your GB name and your planned in-game name.

Note: If you have not got a main character name already decided, just enter your account name, BUT remember to include the numbers

I must note that the people on this list will be the first to be added to the guild upon recreation, and it'll just avoid a lot of fuss and save time if you help us out now rather than waiting for the game to go live.

ED: Also note that our guild is on the Yak's Bend server (this includes Oceanic / EU guys like myself). If you're maining something else and don't wish to switch, it is perhaps not very logical to post here for this beta (as I don't think the guesting system is live yet - though I could be wrong on this point).

Oh good you came back to edit where the server was. Now I do not have to ask. I will just have to swap servers now because I have currently been playing on a different one. :D

Frak the Police?

@Giefcookie: haha - that's my current Human Warrior, though I think I'll make him an asura this time around.

I actually really like the Australian police force - but there was a handlebar mustache and I couldn't resist making something which closely resembled an 80s action-tv-show-villain. Frak the police seemed like an appropriate name : D

I can't believe you are trying to justify that name! My character names will all be completely lore-compatable, like my Asura ranger Undercover Trout.

I will be sticking with plain ol' Dourin for this BWE. Though I do have some fun names for live characters that I do not wish to disclose at this time.

Okay, currently there are 30ish members on this roster, which is good (as that's about how many we had last BWE) - but there's new names here, so we're missing some players.

About when will you be inviting everyone? will it be as soon as the BWE starts or what? because i feel like im going to spend a stupidly long amount of time making a slyvari because i want them to be perfect (I'm weird)

Done and done! Excited to finally do some GB guild stuffs (ended up on another server for past two betas--mostly due to crazy server lag shenanigans).

@AxleFGK How we've done it over the last couple of BWEs is that @Maystack will send a round of invites on creation, then another half an hour after, then we'll all be doing invite duty at some time or another on every hour for the 12 or so (however long it takes to fill the guild out).

I'll probably get @No0b0rAmA , @Subjugation , @UssjTrunks , @Benny and @Chavtheworld on invite duty this time around. May as well give the officers something to do : )

Shinboy will be manning the flag competition (a post which should go up today or tomorrow).

Went ahead and added myself, I plan on playing this weekend. Not sure how much, since I'll be working.

Woah. 55+ People now - guess this BWE is going to be busier than the last one by a fair margin.

I hope people play together though, I don't want anyone to struggle when they could just ask for help (like has happened in the past) - remember! GW2 rewards people for doing older content, so never ever feel bad about asking! (that especially goes to anyone new)

I will be needing help I feel seeing as I am rolling an engineer for the first time.

@RobbieMac: Hmm, that's a good question. I plan on spending the bulk of my time as a sylvari because it's what I'm interested in for release but I want to squeeze asura in as well. Time to flip a coin.

hello, listen to the podcast and decided i want to be a part of the guild if thats ok with everyone. This will be my first beta weekend, but i plan on playing a lot right from the moment it starts on friday. A break for batman viewing and then play some more, haha!

EDIT: oh i am interested in WVW and PVE mostly, though learning the game and figuring out which profession i want to play is first priority.

I know that @Benny also wanted to do a 5v5 tourney. So that makes 3 of us so far!

Do they still have the restriction of only being able to PvP with players from your own region? It was talked about on the cast a few episodes back but haven't read about it anywhere else.

I'm not sure. I thought I read somewhere that there would be no server restrictions for PvP (I could be mistaken though, I don't have a link), but I'm not sure about region restrictions.
