    Overview

Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin, or GUILT, is a man-made disease that exists in the Trauma Center universe and a disease especially important to the storyline of Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Sometimes referred to as a construct of medical terrorism, GUILT is extremely dangerous and can become fatal at an alarming rate if not treated immediately upon discovery. Due to the speed with which it attacks the infected and its unusual appearance and behavior, only a highly skilled surgeon can successfully treat it. There are seven varieties of GUILT. It is possible for a patient to be infected with more than one type at once.

In Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2, patients previous treated for GUILT become ill from Post-GUILT Syndrome and must be treated for this new condition.
