    I know the rock band insturments work on the 360 version but what about the PS3 version

    I would assume it goes the the same for both systems, I can't see why not.

    I read, I think it was on Kotaku, that all RB instruments would be compatible with GH and vice versa. If I can dig up the article, I'll post it.

    After listening to roughly 12 hours of E3 podcasts from various sources, they all seem to agree that both Rock Band 2 and GH: World Tour will be playable on each others instruments for all consoles.  This is very exciting news, as I was going to write off GH, and not give it a chance, but knowing that I won't need another set of plastic instruments cluttering my living room in order to play this game has convinced me to shell out the $60 to buy the game.

    This is very good news for both games.  Now the question is does the Ion drum set work as a 5-input with the extra cymbals or is it still a 4?

    Well the Les Paul was never compatible for Rock Band for the PS3, so it wouldn't surprise me if the RB peripherals didn't work for GH:WT.
