    I'm looking for the track number/name of the song that plays right after you get the crowbar from Barney in the original game (HL2) and after you break the boards from the first door. It starts right when you see those little camera things flying around in that train yard. It's a sweet song and I need to know it!

    Hey. Sorry nobody has replied to you yet. For what it's worth, the music title is "Apprehension And Evasion", alternatively known in the game files as '
    HL2_song29.mp3 ' The official track number is 12.

    Yeah it is definitely one of my favorite VG soundtracks. When I look back on HL2, the music is a huge part that stands out for me. Valve is SO GOOD!

    I don't remember when it played, but wasn't one of the songs featured in a UT2k4 mod that was pretty much a CS ripoff (frag ops?). I remember that it caught me really off guard.

    The Half-Life 2 soundtrack is awesome and I also particularly like the track Vortal Combat from the Half-Life 2: Episode 2 soundtrack. I can confirm that the track that plays at the point you mentioned in Half-Life 2 is Apprehension and Evasion and sounds like this:
