Am I the only one noticing the fact that when they show a kill cam of me dying in multiplayer most of the time the players reticule is miles away from any part of my body? but aligned with my center mass but not actually touching my characters body? I'm aware this is common with Halo series but it just seems more apparent now that I can see it through their eyes. It doesnt take away from the games fun or anything just a weird observation. Does playing Pro Slayer negate this issue?

I think I remember some weirdness with CoD killcams, too. Maybe they're not 100% accurate as to what happened?

@bibamatt: just seems odd thats how it theoretically works... their aim is usually ridiculously off so i guess it makes some sense?

Yeah its not the hitbox its just killcams don't really show exactly what happened.

Wasn't the problem with kill-cams in the first place latency related? I know in Modern Warfare the kill-cam was off all the time, but I feel that must me isolated to their client or server-side recognition.

Maybe it's just something with replay cams in general?

Even still wasnt there like a test done with Halo 3 and Halo 1 comparing hit boxes? Id be interested to see that same test done with this game to determine how big the hitboxes are in general

@PolyesterPimp: There was a really good series of "Halo Reach Mythbusters" videos that someone did on YouTube for things like that. No doubt they'll get stuck into Halo 4!

Kill cams like these are rarely 100% accurate.

+1 for inaccurate killcams. At least the killcams give you a sense of where the hiding spot campers are now.

just lag compensation kicking in. It's an issue with most xbox live games since they're using P2P connections rather than dedicated servers for the actual match portion of the game. A dude on youtube did a long but decent job of explaining the disparity of what happens on your screen with what the game actually records as what happened. Link below.
