The Fall of Reach- yep that sounds like a bitter sweet ending to me.

Im hoping theres some heroic sacrifice at the end. Too many games have the good guys survive at the end.  Though I wouldnt be surprised if at least a few of Noble Team survive so there could be books about them. Of course there were other spartans who escaped Reach or were on other missions during the fall of Reach

We're not going to see a Master Chief escape sequence, Halo: Reach is going to be about Noble Team and Noble Team only. Of course we know Reach is going to fall but whether Noble Team live or die is the real matter of interest.

I think that having a bittersweet everyone-dies ending would be a perfect way to send the game off.  A final stand type mission would be great, especially if, as I'm expecting, Noble Team and the battle of Reach end up being the main reasons that the Elites see humans as worthy opponents.

I think for this campaign to really have a great emotional impact we should see all of the Spartans in Noble Team die. The developers said they wanted to make sure you felt accomplishment, so I imagine is should be some sort of heroic last stand.

It'll be like watching Star Wars episode 3. You'll already know the conclusion, but the amazing part that we haven't experienced is the journey to that conclusion.

All I know is... I don't think we'll be seeing a sequel to Reach.

In some of the other Halo books there are other Spartans that survived the fall of Reach, so who knows...maybe Noble team will survive as well? "

I think this game is gonna be fucking awesome. Bungies Halo Swan Song everything you wanted from the first game will be here EXCITED! AND THEN THEY BLOW IT ALL UP HELL YEA!
