    A prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, chronicling one of the most cataclysmic events of the Halo Universe through the eyes of a squad of Spartan super-soldiers known as Noble Team. It is also the last game in the series developed by Bungie.

    The game comes out in a month, and they have a finished game product on their hands with nothing to do about it.They have a whiteboard with a dozen ideas, tons of unfinished content they couldnt finish in time to get the game pubished and distributed before the 14th.
     
    OF COURSE THEY'RE WORKING ON MAP PACKS. What, do you expect them to just sit there in their office for a month doing nothing while discs get printed?!?! Im not saying we'll see day 1 DLC, Bungie isnt that kind of developer...but they would be idiots to not get a head start on their DLC.
     
    And like em or hate em, Bungie are not idiots. Their track record proves that.
     
    Edit: Sorry for exploding like that, in either case, Im glad they got it done, and I cant wait for the game.

    I'm so fucking excited for HALO: Reach.  In my opinion Reach will have the best multiplayer since HALO 2.  They really dropped the ball on H3 multiplayer, but from the Reach beta I know that it won't happen again.  The only thing that pisses me off is that Bungie have that indie spirit in them and want to pursue other projects and not only be remembered for HALO.  I also have a feeling that they made a mistake by signing with Activision.  In all honesty I kind of hope their other projects fail and they come back to Microsoft Game Studios and just keep making HALO games.

    This game better be Gold, if it's a let down like Halo 3 was or even a bigger letdown, Bungie would have hell to play. Saying that, I liked Halo 3 a lot and I'm very excited for Halo Reach. :P

    Just saw the news on the Bungie website. I'm actually relieved that the release date isn't within the next few weeks, because I'm on vacation. Wouldn't want to be left behind at launch :P Plus, the elite armor they revealed in the same post looks badass.
