    I grew up eating Carl's Jr. in California. I was hard-pressed to find one in Dallas. Surprisingly enough, there's one open in Denton near where I live. :D  
     
    As for Five Guys, that wasn't a burger - it was a ball of meat and bread soaked in peanut oil. I won't lie though, it was good. Was it the best damn burger I've ever had? Meh.

    Five Guys gets hyped up a lot on the internet. Never eaten at one or even seen one, but they seem shady.
     
    They can't possibly serve any sandwich better than the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, so how can they be the best? I mean, really.

    I've only had Carl's Jr (here it's called Hardee's) but I've got to say that Frisco Melt is DAMMMMMM GOOD.

     Five Guys is dominant.  I just hate that the closest one to where I live that I know of is 8 hours away in Florida.  I do love me some Hardy's(Carl Jr's) though.
     
    Edit:  You can't beat my mom's home-cooked burgers on the grill though.  Those are amazing... Spinnacker's comes close though, as well as Shoney's.
