    Hamburger

Object » linked to 362 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Would you go to a restaurant that sells exclusively burgers?

I've had this idea for a while.  I really really love burgers.  I mean a lot.  Like an unhealthy amount.  If I could choose just one food item for the rest of my life, it would be a tasty, tasty burger.  I would die of an early heart attack, but I would be happy, because I ate burgers every day.

Now, maybe I'm weird, or maybe there's a lot of people like me.  To me the hamburger is the one true american food.  I would like to start a restaurant that serves only burgers.  I'd have lots of different kinds, gourmet burgers and the like.

Who's in?  Would you go to such a restaurant?

Depends how much of a hard a$$ you'd be about it. If I can get a side of fries, or a bag of chips, I'd go. If not, I'll have to settle for staying home and grilling up a bit of heaven on the porch.

Well yeah, I mean I would have appetizers and stuff.  Fries, cheese curds (it's a wisconsin thing, trust me), maybe steak fries or something.  The kind of stuff that complements burgers well.  I would also like to serve beer, because what goes better with a tasty burger than a tasty brew?

I would like to respectfully link you here

If I made an all-burger restaurant and it turned out to be anything like McDonald's, I would kill myself.  This hypothetical restaurant would firstly not be fast-food, and would secondly use substantially higher quality meat than whatever the "meat" is in places like McDonald's.  Don't get me wrong, there is a place for McDonald's.  I just ate there this morning.  But those are not truly hamburgers.

If the place had really good burgers (even better than the Whopper, which I freakin love), then yes, I would go there for sure, because you're trading a variety of crap for one awesome thing.

All burger resteraunt!?!? That sounds deliciously awesome, though you might want to serve some specialty burgers! I am all for this idea, especially if Giant Bomb users get a discount =)

By only burgers do you mean only burgers and not even french fries? Or you just mean a burger joint that doesn't sell chicken sandwiches and so on?

In my town we have this burger joint called American Burger, I'm not sure if it is a chain or not. But they sell the best burgers you can possibly eat. I love that place.

I mean a burger joint that does not sell chicken sandwiches or bbq sandwiches or any other kind of sandwich but burgers.  Side dishes are fine, as long as they complement the burgers.  Salads - no way.  Fries - you bet.

I would have tons of different kinds of specialty burgers.  I had an idea for a Hawaiian burger for instance, and maybe there could be a greek burger and a western style burger, etc.

To use a gaming analogy, it's like buying a Wii and only playing Mario games... it might sound great at first, but you'll get bored of it after a while.

    I like variety, thanks.

We've got something a little bit like that near where I live. It's great.
