Haunting Ground -PS2-
There are many names to this game, maybe.. Demento? Clock Tower 4? Well, its most well known name in America is Haunting ground.
This game was rather different, first off. The story is rather simple, not like the other games I have played.
STORY - You're a girl that had woken up into a castle after a car crash, going home from collage. Her name is Fiona, Fiona has a power in her womb, known as Azoth. The four people at the castle NEED Azoth to survive. So they start chasing Fiona around the castle. Fiona soon meets a white german shepherd named Hewie. Hewie helps Fiona get out of the castle.
CONTROL'S - The control's need some getting use to. But you can attack in this game, but you need to watch you're aim, because you can injure Hewie. The Hewie control's are torture to get through if you don't train him and not tell him "no!". Hewie will not attack all the time, unless you train him on the dog training grounds. Or tell him not to do something.
VISUALS/GRAPHICS - The visuals are WONDERFUL, it actually looks like that could be an actual castle design. Its dark, but also colorful in its own way. Haunting Ground's graphics look amazing for the PS2! It's like their actually there, its awesome. The characters look fantastic, the actions look realistic.
OVERALL - The Game deserves a rent, it really does. I think it was actually even better than the other clock tower games. It has its flaw's with its control's and some voice acting. But still, Haunting Ground is a good game. Go try it!
