We still don't know when the next expansion will arrive but Blizzard will announce it next Thursday on their twitch channel. Check it out on March 11th @ 10AM (PST). They are likely to preview the new cards on the stream.

Excitement!

Should I assume it will be the same deal as recently, where they're going to announce that the expansion is out like 2 days later, so nobody has much notice to save up gold?

@bisonhero: Most likely not. They're doing Winter Championships the next 2-3 weeks after, so introducing a bunch of cards (that would still show up from random effects even if they didn't allow them to be played) right before that would completely mess up the competition. It's very unlikely we'll get the expansion before the 25th, and probably not before April.

A long awaited announcement... of an announcement. Ugh.

In other news these things happened:

Hearthstone is actually kind of fun if you do it while working (in my case streaming SFV) at the same time; not nearly as aggravating. That and going 11-0 of course.

I should have 7/9 golden heroes by the time new expansion rolls out. Looking forward to the end of FoN + Savage Roar.

Looks like the new expansion will be called "Whisper of the Old Gods"

and this was reported on reddit. One day more untilthe expansion is announced but the evidence points towards this being the theme.
