Oh hey just realized I got in this a few weeks ago (i.e. realized within the last 2 or 3 days, got the email on April 1st); despite intensely disliking how variety died after DoTA killed the UMS/Custom Map scene I admittedly had a good time with Guardians of Middle Earth for 25-30 hours and evidently being one of the best Warhammer Online players makes you pretty good at MOBAs. Efreet #1563; ETC all day every day.

Just got in the other night and really really enjoying this so far. It's everything I wanted in a MOBA but never realized.

@tennmuerti: It's region locked as far as I've read. I don't know anyone outside of the U.S. server to test it with or I'd quick try to play a game with them to be sure.

Wow a lot of positive feedback about the game here. Surprising considering that most of the time when a game is developed to draw off of another competitive games' in its own way they end up getting chewed out by most of the original games' fanbase. @hypnotoadbrwowrowrow: I think what makes it for me is that there is no items. I just pick skills. The rest is strategy. So much better. Also, there's more then one map.

Just getting into the game, finding it pretty great so far as a person who bounced off DoTA hard.

@themasterds: I like this idea as well. Wish the chat channels were a little easier to use though rather than text commands. Unless I'm missing something.

@mosaicm80: @takayamasama: Any preference as to channel name? Maybe GBomb since its short and vanilla. Maybe I'm just biased because I hang out in a chat channel with a short name and it really makes no difference. Perhaps then just giantbomb. Hmm. Will think more on this.
