Is anyone at all interested in getting the Hitman HD trilogy? I already own all three games included and so purchasing this would be redundant. I really wish they would have included a console port of Codename 47. Then I might have been interested in picking this up.
Hitman HD Trilogy
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Jan 29, 2013
A collection of the second, third and fourth Hitman games, remastered in HD with support for Achievements/Trophies.
Will anyone be picking this up?
Does anyone know if the artbook comes with all new copies or just the special edition? If it does come with the artbook then that along with the packaging has me somewhat interested. Playing it on PS3 would certainly give me more save space and (hopefully) better loading times than the PS2 versions.
I think I'll get this, seems like a great collection to wash away the taste of terrible gameplay Hitman: Absolution left behind ;)
I'm interested in what enhancements (if any) they added to Blood Money, as that is a current generation game.
I will. Been meaning to re-play all these games, but original Xbox games look like total shit on HD TVs. But as this is coming out I'll get this instead!

I also think a demo of Contracts was the first bit of any Hitman game I played, and man, I played that demo a lot.
Same here! I had watched a mate play some Silent Assassin, but he mostly run n gunned the thing a lot and the Contracts demo on the PS2 was my first experience with the Hitman series. It was an entire mission as well, the one based in Russia iirc, so it gave you the perfect opportunity to scope out what this game's all about uncovering all the myriad of ways to complete your objectives.
I bought the PC version which is completely unplayable (the first two games, at least) so no, I won't be supporting this.

Literally unplayable. Every time I try to launch either game, it gives me a "failed to find Steam" notice and even though I've scoured the internet for fixes and talked extensively with Steam support, it still does not work.
I used Gamefly to play Blood Money, but I never got to finish it. I thought about downloading it from XBL, but they're selling it for $30. I can't find a used copy at my local Gamestop either. So 3 games, including Blood Money for $40 is a hell of a deal, because I'd love to play the first 2 games also.

Oh, that sucks. But you could perhaps see this as you... purchasing the later two instead and you're getting another, working, copy of Silent Assassin as a bonus? :P
Not me, I beat all the Hitman games throughout last year in order before Absolution came out (and then beat Absolution). Judging by the word trilogy, I'm assuming they skip out on Contracts which is a shame. Engine-wise, I think Contracts was the best, despite the fact that half the game was taken right out of the original... I wouldn't mind an HD trilogy if it meant the first on a new engine though. The first really wasn't any good but 2 and Contracts were awesome. I didn't like Blood Money nearly as much as a lot of people seemed to.

Will this be coming to PC?
Do they ever? Besides can't you technically already buy all of the classic Hitman games in HD on the PC anyway?

I hope they quick look this.
I expect a lot of death and "Stealth Sucks" from the crew.
The weird thing is Patrick apparently loved Blood Money, so... yeah I'd be curious to hear what he has to say about the previous two, which are perhaps a little more strict.
Is there any footage of this online? I've played Blood Money but I wouldn't mind getting it just to experience the other 2 games.
Also I feel like Halo Anniversary has ruined HD remakes for me :(
I have all the games except for the newest one and contracts on PC. I have yet to play all of them but I will not be picking this up unless they really beef out special features, or they look miles better than the original.
Nah only because I already have Blood Money and as much as I liked Hitman 2 back in the day I couldn't play it now.
I'll be picking it up for sure and reviewing it. Just finished Absolution 100% and I'm craving more Hitman so this is perfect for me.
I own the pc version on steam which I bought relatively cheap. I probably won't buy the console version.
If one can judge anything from the trailer, those HD graphics will probably be a bit rough for your eyes in Silent Assassin and Contracts at least. But as long as they aren't complete garbage and the framerate holds up, I'd be pleased enough. Not that I'm going to buy this again, since I have them pc-versions, but for any new players, I definetly recommend this, if everything turns out fine technical-wise.
As much as I like Hitman I think I've moved on and don't really feel like replaying any of the earlier games especially since I played a lot of each one at time of release. I do like artbooks and that sort of nonsense but not going to spend $60 for an artbook, especially since a lot of them are hit or miss.
