Hook Coast is a small port town positioned on a small island off mainland Albion. The population of Hook Coast are completely centered around the activity of fishing, as it is one of the only trades that the Hook Coast provides. They are very few trees or shrubs in the Hook coast, this may be due to the fact that it is constantly snowing. The only way to reach the Hook Coast in the original Fable is through the Ancient Cullis Gate which is located in Darkwood.

At the end of the story of
Fable 2 one of the heroes
Hammer is teleported to a monastery in "the north" to become a warrior monk. In the Original Fable, the Hero of Oakvale fights with his old mentor
Maze in the Hook Coast Monastery. Due to the large amount of time passed between the two games (
Fable 1 and
Fable 2) the monastery may have been rebuilt in this time.
