Impact Racing is a racing game, with some car combat elements. As you zoom around each track, there are two main objectives: complete the lap within the allotted time and destroy a specific number of cars along the way. If you fail at either task, it's game over. The five available cars come equipped with lasers mounted on the front, and there are other weapons scattered throughout each track that can be picked up, such as heat-seeking missiles, concussion missiles, and smart bombs. In addition to the weapons, additional power-ups like extra time and armor can also be found. Each track can be driven in reverse, at night, or in reverse at night, leading to a total of 12 different track variations.
