Indie Built Games is the rebranding of Salt Lake City's Access Software. Access Software was purchased by Microsoft in 1999, then named Salt Lake Game Studio subdivision of Microsoft Gaming Studios and then later as Indie Game Studios. The division was sold to Take-Two interactive in 2004 and renamed Indie Built Games. The studio was closed in 2006.
Before closing, they are best known for creating Amped 3, a strange, hilarious masterpiece of-sorts.
