inFAMOUS
So glad I decided to play this. It's brilliant from start to finish, there's not really a single section I can say frustrated me that much. There were one or two moments in some of the later missions but it was nothing more than momentary frustration after I'd died. Nothing that dragged on or really pissed me off. There's an excellent amount of variety in the story missions and side missions alike. Even the boss fights are good.
There's quite a lot to be done, it's not enormous in content as far as open world games go but there is enough to keep you playing far longer than your average game. There's also the draw of playing through twice, as both good and evil. As well as getting a (slightly) different story there are also powers that are unique to either the good or evil alignment. As with most games that give you moral choices throughout the story, you wont spend more than a micro second thinking about which decision to make. It usually boils down to inconveniencing yourself or killing a lot of innocent people. All but one of the choices in the game are like this.
I usually get bored of open world games but the story and frequent acquisition of new powers kept me hooked from start to finish. The story really is intriguing and it has a some nice twists. The aforementioned level variety also helps stave off the boredom.
Definitely one of my favourite PS3 exclusives.
