I think that there should be a new platform for the wiki called "iOS".

It doesn't always make sense to have the platform listed as "iPhone", as the iPod touch can use the same apps...

I just feel it is a bit unclear, but it isn't really an urgent issue.

We already have two iOS platform pages, iPhone and iPad. All that needs to happen to satisfy your request is to rename the iPhone platform, not create a third one. And aliases are already in place to ensure people looking for the iPod Touch will find the iPhone. I personally added the "iOS" alias to the iPhone page because I knew someone might search for that.

Okay, that seems pretty straightforward.
