The classic Marvel superhero Iron Man steps into the world of video games in his own game based on the hit blockbuster film.
The game loosely follows the story of the movie, featuring voice talent from the film's stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard and Shaun Toub. It features several of Iron Man's nemeses from the comics, such as Melter, Whiplash, Titanium Man, and the Iron Monger. This is a mission-based game, where Tony Stark seeks out and destroys the weapons that his company had created and sold to terrorist groups and organized crime families. After each mission you are reward with credits that can be used to upgrade many aspects of the Iron Man suit, including its speed, repulsor power, and power generator. The game features six unlockable Iron Man suits, including fan favorites such as the Hulkbuster armor and the Extremis armor. The 360 and the PS3 each received an exclusive suit, with the 360 getting the Red Centurion armor and the PS3 gets the Ultimate armor.
