I probably will. I just hope its not short. That was my complaint with Limbo, it was too short, but while it lasted it was so sweet. I feel like Journey will be like that. Here's hoping that it is long. I think 8 hours would be a suitable amount of time to beat the game.
Journey
Game » consists of 9 releases. Released Mar 13, 2012
Journey is thatgamecompany's third release for Sony. Roam the lands discovering the history of an ancient civilization on a trek toward a distant mountain. Go at it alone or explore with strangers online.
I hope this isn't short.
I don't care if it's 3-4 hours as long as I enjoy that time with it. I never had a problem with limbo's length.
Dude, 8 hours is way too long for a downloadable title.
Most 60$ titles don't even last that long
I will take a quality experience with hidden content to encourage using the NG+ option it has and be happy for my 15$.
I feel like Limbo should've been SHORTER. That game starts dragging itself at the middle... It doesn't show nothing new, and the experience works more in a cinematic point of view than in a gameplay point of view. In fact, that's my problem with these kinds of games. Sometimes they sell the thing just based on the visual spectacle that the game is, but the gameplay is not engaging at all.
Also, the game is 2 hours long, i think.

I believe he also said it was the best gaming experience he's ever had.
Oh man, get hyped. I can already feel the overhyping. I love TGC, but people borderline worship their stuff, making it hard to tell if I will like it or not. I dug flower, so I guess I will give Journey a go.
Also making a game longer doesn't make it better. Modern Warfare 3 was a perfect example of this. That game's SP only lasted about 5 hours but I was glad because any longer than that and it would have overstayed its welcome. I thought that it was an enjoyable 5 hour ride. On the other end was Skyward Sword which padded out its length with useless and repetitive quests that diminished what could have been a phenomenal game. Quality over quantity my good man
You "probably will" what?Buy it.

Journey, not destination.
You know what? I really like this. A LOT
He IS talking about the journey. To be talking about the destination would be making a thread saying "how is the ending?".

Yes...but my point was it's the experience that counts, not the length. Quality > Quantity.

I'm not saying it will be that or it is, but it did make me more interested. I was kind of iffy on the $15 price point, but all the positive things I'm hearing about it, I think I'm going to buy it day 1 (next week for Playstation+ members).
Journey has a good lenght for what it gives you. But understand that this game is quite short. BUT it's also a fantastic trip worth taking again.
The lenght is:

That is possibly the best online game I have played. Goddamn.
