    Alright fella's.

I just bought limited edition Just Cause 2 (not on purpose I might add), and the weapons and vehicles are already maxed out, upgrade wise. To me, this just makes me not want to use any other/upgrade other weapons. Any one else getting that feeling? Kind of cheapens everything? I might delete the content.

    Thoughts?

Stuff like that is there mostly to just add to chaos. Or if you are on a tough mission. Just use it when you wanna screw around. No one is gonna force ya to use it.

P.S Where did you get the limited edition?

I know no-ones forcing me to use it; but that's not what I had in mind. Part of the fun for me is upgrading weapons and utilising different weapons, but if these turn out to be my go-to for any mission that needs to get done, I'm missing out on quite a bit.
It's partly my own neurosis I guess, but was just wondering if anyone else thought the same.

I bought it from my local Gamestation. I'm UK mind.
Traded in some cruddy games and bought it for £7, the guy just handed me the limited edition. Hopefully a mistake on his part that he didn't notice.

Nah chances are no one reserved it and they got some limited ones. Do not use the DLC stuff yet. Wait till you get more into the game.

@OmegaPirate: Nope, doesn't effect achievements. They still cost in-game cash so I figure that part is somewhat justified.

@The_Laughing_Man: That's what I'm doing. Just going to put in the content and fuck around when I'm done with the rest of the game.

I have the ltd edition too and I think the extras are balanced...

The cost of the gun is 50,000 and it runs out of ammo real quick since enemies don't seem to drop the same stuff. You can't buy just ammo for it, so have to spend 50k for 192 rounds (at least in the early parts). You still need to rely on upgrading the standard assault rifle and machine pistol, etc, because the upgrade is applied to all weapons of that type retrieved from foes.

I've been playing for about 12 hours now and at the moment I'm thinking the ammo distribution is too stingy in most places. I'm often running out of ammo all to frequently.

@diz: Yeah, ammo is a little sparse, but I've found that just keeps me fighting creatively instead of just shooting the shit out of everything.

Even though the gun's kind of expensive, it's not that expensive. You can still just buy it to blaze through something and get the cash back from whatever it was that  you just blazed through.

I dunno. No biggy. Game's still awesome.

You've got a crazy grappling hook and a parachute factory strapped to your back. This whole game is unbalanced and that's awesome.

I got the assault rifle with my game, and yeah, it came with 6stars, and I felt the same as you.  I never used it once during my playthrough, though I will start trying it out in post game and if I go back through the game on the hardest setting (this seems doubtful).

Yeah I got the limited edition (It's the same price as the normal game) and all the extra stuff is overpowered, but it does cost loads of in-game money, so its not such a bad thing.
