Karl Bishop Weyland is one of the co-founders of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation; an organization central to the Alien film series and games. His ancestor, Charles Weyland, was seen in the crossover movie Alien vs. Predator, which is set long before the proper Alien series begins. His name and appearance were later used as the basis for the design of a synthetic humanoid named Bishop, also a character from the Alien series. In the movies, Charles Weyland and Bishop were played by Lance Henriksen.
Karl Weyland makes an appearance in the Aliens vs. Predator game created by Rebellion, also voiced by Henriksen.
