Overview

Kumatanchi is a life simulation game were the player must take care of a bear-girl named Kuma-tan who lives in a city zoo. The game was a co-production between Vanillaware along with a doujin group named Ashinaga Ojisan. The game is based off characters created by Vanillaware artist, who is also a member of Ashinaga Ojisan, Shigatake and is modeled after the doujin group's previous life sim game, Hanbanero-tan House. The music was composed by Basiscape which is the sound company responsible for creating the music in VanillaWare's previous titles. Kumatanchi was published for the Nintendo DS in Japan by Dimple Entertainment on September 25, 2008.
