    Limbo: Fantastic

I spent the past year hearing how great of a game Limbo is, how everything just feels right, and how the art looks fantastic. After playing it on the PC a year after it was released on the 360 I can admit that all of these claims are 100% true.

All of the parts of this game work beautifully together and the new mechanics are opened up at a pace that provides a fun challenge originally and by the end they all become second nature, allowing for interesting gameplay right until the end.

My single complaint is about one puzzle where slow walking is required to pass a level, but this is never clearly introduced prior and never used later, making this frustrating puzzle seem extremely out of place and unnecessary.

Technically, this game looks fantastic and runs without a hitch on the PC version and the XBOX 360 controller fits perfectly, making playing with a keyboard seem fairly ridiculous.

A mediocre game that was propped up as "the next Braid" 0

Right after Braid, people started looking for "the next Braid". Not having played the majority of indy games out there on Steam or Playstation network, I can't say whether or not that game has been found. I can tell you one thing, however. Despite what you have been told, Limbo is most definitely not it. It is an indy, artsy game with lots of puzzles. That's where the similarities end. The game is a mediocre platformer, with poor gameplay that is disguised by an interesting presentation and a cr...
