Mine was probably 2. The season from start to finish was incredible.

Favorite Season of Lost?
My favorite season is probably Season 4 because of how much we see of Ben. Ben, in my opinion, is one of the most interesting and exciting characters on that show. That being said, I think every season is truly incredible and I can't wait for Season 5!!
I just watched season 2 in it's entirety last week and I just started season 3..It was impossible to watch it on TV due to all of the interruptions..So now I'm enjoying it a lot more..Season 2 impressed me a bit although I still get annoyed at how idiotic everyone can be at times. Oh well.
Season 4, mostly because I was ready to quit after Season 3 (which was just apalling) and the crew managed to reignite my love of the show with S4.
Looking forwards to S5.
Seasons 1 finale and Season 2 Premiere were absolutely amazing.
Season 1 was the best I think. It was heavily character-focused, the show was really more of an ensemble piece back then as opposed to being The Jack and Locke show, which it kind of became (exaggerating, but it lost some of the ensemble nature). When no one knew what the hell was going on on the island, viewers and characters, and it focused more on the characters and the writers weren't yet obsessed with adding as much crazy shit in as possible, it was at its best. It had some really powerful moments and was the richest season thematically, like the episode where Boone dies and the baby is born, that life/death juxtaposition I felt was really powerful. And when Jack is resuscitating Charlie and he seems dead, powerful stuff.
Then season 3, if only for the finale, what an incredible mindfuck. Just unbelievable. That instant when you realize it's a flash forward, best moment in television ever for me.
Season 2 and 4, I don't know. I enjoyed season 4 but in hindsight I don't really know that I like where the show is going, all of a sudden it just gets crazier and crazier but besides that, the characters aren't really developing much and the writing is getting a little cliché, stale and tired. Season 2 I just felt didn't have enough happening in it, as said it was a little too Hatch-focused.
Anyway enough of me being a pretentious douche.

I was most enthralled with season, even though I watched it all on Youtube, I found the show much more character based and suspensfull, especially not knowing who the "others" were. It was great.
I then really enjoyed any conflicts in the Hatch and the Button, they were really interesting and mindblowing.
Unfortunately, I'm finding that Lost is turning into a bit of a cluster-fuck *spoilers* -------------------------------> (sriously, wtf is Locke doing in the coffin???)
Anyway, I'm eagerly looking forward to season 5 which I believe begins January 21st! Maybe we should make a Giantbomb Lost Thread, so all us fanboys can discuss the madness after it occurs!
Wow, Season 2 might have been the weakest overall for me but many of you seem to enjoy it.
My favorite is probably the first. But I have to say, Season 3's second half is probably the strongest of the series. And the first half is the worst.....
Of course, Season 4 was great. It just had a lot of different things going on. Flash-forwards and flash-backs and flash-forward-back-Desmond-crazy-travels.
I like them all regardless.
I'm bringing this threat back from the grave!
Like just about everyone else, I'm going to go with Season 4, thanks to episodes like The Constant and The Shape of Things To Come.
But I'll always have a special place for Season 2 as well - I always remember The Other 48 Days as the episode that made me realize just how amazing this show is.
Im watching season 4 right now, and my God, I love the first 3 seasons, but 4 is a whole 'nother beast. God I am addicted to this show.
