Makoto is the sister to Akira. She is warm and friendly towards the player character. Makoto studies English Literature at her university and is fluent in speaking English. On the other hand, she is not good at cooking.
Makoto will serve as a guide to Asakusa, Ginza, and Shinjuku.
On the fifth day at Kyoto, she revealed that she is jealous of her sister Akira for being able to express her emotions honestly. Makoto practices to be very restrained in her conduct to appear prim and proper, yet fears that people cannot see her for who she is.
On the sixth day, Makoto brought the player to Kamakura and attempted to confess her feeling. She had trouble bringing herself to do so but finally succeeds that night.
