This is mainly just Mario Kart Syndrome, where the first one you played is what you consider to be the best in the series.

I've only played 1, 2, 3, and 4. Honestly, I think they're all pretty similar and you're just gonna like whichever one gives you the most nostalgia value.

So either 1 or 2 for me. Playing those games were the only time my sister and I got along. It's making me all teary eyed just thinking about it. WAAAAAAA!

2 has the best boards (plus costumes) but I think 3 had some of my favorite minigames.

2 or 3 is probably the correct answer, though I do love me some Mario Party 1. That game is weirdly raw, to the point where it isn't hard to imagine being bankrupted of all your coins within a few turns.

It doesn't really matter, all of them are bad games and you would be better of without playing them, much less paying money for them.

But with that said, if you really want to know, the three first are slightly superior - 2 or 3 is probably the "best".

Mario Party 3 is the best Mario Party. The second one recycles too many minigames from the first.

i like 4 the best myself.

Everything after 4 got a little out of hant.

2 or 3. 2 had the best boards and a cool idea with the story, as is with 3 but it had a nice visual design as well. Good times, great memories.

My safe bet would be Mario Party 4, it's the one I spent the most time on and my first Mario Party.

2 had the best boards but you could build a' Nintendo Mount Rushmore' in 3's toybox so....
