Well i finally did it. I preordered my first game. take note that i am an adult whos played games for years. I have never been moved enough by a game to preorder. The only thing that i ever ran out to buy with extreme excitement was red dead(i just had this urge). I feel like congratulations is in order my friends. Whats sucks most is now i have to wait.

What sucks even more is if the post office screw up and you don't even get it day of release, which happens quite often.

First game I pre-ordered was Fable II. Bad decision.

well i had a best gift card that would cover the games price fall into my lap and i just told them to preorder it. I asked for the limited edition version but they said that they done preorder those. hmm... maybe i should just cancel preorder and get that....

First game I preordered was GTA IV, then they said they didn't get the Collectors Edition stuff from their supplier... 
I just got the game and a T-Shirt, kinda disappointing, but atleast I got the game...

Alas no crazy edition in Europe or I'd have preordered the hell out of it.

I think I preordered Gears of War once, and I preordered a Castlevania game once to get some special 20th anniversary soundtrack and art book or something. Beyond that though, I haven't done much preordering.  
 
But I have to say, I am pretty excited for MvC3. Probably going to wait and see if I can get it on sale though ($60 seems a little steep to me, since I'm not really good enough to play online). 

I usually only preorder if there's a good deal (like an exceptional trade in deal) or if you get a good bonus. The Castlevania: PoR pre-order bonus was amazing, as was Windwaker's. Amazon's pre-order bonuses have been pretty sweet as of late, with all of the $10 and $15 credits they give out like candy.

Aw man... That is the US pre-order shirt? :( That's so much better than the UK. I WANT IT

Never pre-ordered, but have made lots of day one purchases.
